A+++ will need to step up my ratchet game just so i can buy more of these.
4 out of 5 due to the lack of bigger options. It's great that they go up to 1-1/2" but heavy equipment mechanics, use wrenches 2"+, and it would be nice to see the larger sizes included in the future. Besides that though, they're great organizers. Look sharp, set up easily and the magnets are strong enough to stick through a drawer liner. All in all, impressed with the product. As I said, us H.E. mechanics are often overlooked when it comes to this type of stuff. It would be nice to have a company that considers our organizational needs. Thanks!
Great idea for organizing my wrenches but it’d be nice the pieces clicked together instead of sliding apart. Also it could hold the wrench a little tighter. They just fall right out
Purchased a set of these for my impacts and regular deep and shallow sockets. Very impressed in how they fit and will be buying more in the future for the rest of my socket sets.
Cleaned my socket drawer up considerably . Definitely would buy this again for my other toolbox .
labels are easy to see. The magnets are a great touch and prevent the rack from moving around. The sizes are precise enough to stop you from putting a wrench in its neighbors spot. My only complaint is how spaced out the wrenches are. I'm using Icon wenches, which seem to be a very standard thickness. I think the slots could have been closer together by about 20%. This was probably done to accommodate wider than normal wrenches, and does mean grabbing the wrenches is easier. But if you only care about space efficiency, this is a slight negative. Overall, maybe my favorite wrench storage solution though.
One of my numbers was backwards. 12 was put on as 21. And u can not change it around.
Easy to use, they stay put and are a great value. Definitely recommend.
Purchased these to hold my Metric and SAE impact sockets to clean up my box. They look good and serve the purpose. I haven't rolled my box to a machine breakdown yet so I will not be able to tell you if they stay upright when pushing the box but am pretty sure they will.
This is absolutely perfect. I was struggling getting my wrenches to store nicely and this did the trick! The detail and precision is fantastic, there are little magnets built in to each one, and they positively engage so they can’t fall out. I’ve never seen anything like it. Highly recommend!
Take it from me and learn from my mistakes. I went through a hand full of different big name wrench organizers before landing at FDMOperations.com. The best thing about FDM wrench organizers is that my wrenches are where they were the last time I closed the drawer. Not rolling back and forth. FDM also provides top notch customer service. That combo’s hard to beat for a wrench organizer. (Pun intended)
After trying multiple big name wrench organizers, I found exactly what I thought wrench organization should be with fdm. Give them a try.
These are great! Only two comments: The first is a nit, I wish they were as wide as the actual OD of the socket rather than the hang over. It just makes it more time consuming to lay these out top to bottom because the spacing isn't consistent. The second comment is the depth. I wish you had a deep socket version that was maybe 5mm taller. They hold the deeps ok but especially on the smaller diameter ones, they are less stable. Overall, I think these are the best socket organizers out there. I switched from tool widget to these for my short sockets but keeping the tool widgets for my deeps bot regular and impact.
I wanted something which would be small and compact enough to carry a set of both metric and SAE sockets in my everyday carry bag. This is perfect.
I really like these modular holders; my only complaint is that they are a little unstable for deep sockets particularly in larger sizes making them where they cover more of the socet both laterally and vertically would make them perfect.
I just got this set in and so far I'm really impressed! I love the modularity and being able to add/remove segments. The magnetic bases work well to hold the organizer in place. I'm most impressed with how space efficient they are. The only drawback is they only work on open ends.
Really nice! The flexibility of being able to pick the height of the fins (I went 2") and their width makes these way nicer in my opinion than the Ernst racks. The printing quality is great and the magnetic base holds the rack securely.
What a great product and idea to be different from the normal offerings of organizers. The price can’t be beat either! I am super interested in the wrench organizer and that will be my next purchase!! Definitely the toolbox organizing company I will be using for the future.
These are almost perfect. I like that every size is included with proper spacing between each and they go up to larger sizes. Two things I would suggest. First, add a tray that they can clip into that has a slide adjustment for length. This adds additional structural rigidity for carrying them around. Think shoe sizer as example. The second thing would be pins with sizes. Short and long that we can add if we want. The size labels are great but almost useless. You can't see the size unless you remove the socket. Beyond those two improvements, these are the best I'm seeing with respect to design. As an aside, I'd love to see these for impacts.
As soon as I saw these i knew I had to have them. When working out of a service truck, tool space is a premium. Because I was able to move these out of a drawer, I was able to gain more room. These are solid and love that the sizes are marked
