I ordered two of these for technician backpacks in an industrial environment and couldn't be more please with them. They're extremely compact, and seem very well built.
Great design! ALL of my 1/4 deep wells fit in this case. Freed up space in my tool box drawer and I can find my sockets with minimal effort.
I'm a travel helicopter mechanic that has to deal with both SAE and metric aircraft parts. Space and convience is very important to me for carrying my tools. My company also has a policy that all tools have to be shadowed for tool accountability. These cases are absolutely perfect for me since I don't have a traditional toolbox. I appreciate being able to purchase without sockets... because lord knows every mechanic has plenty of sets. Using rails is a hassle for me because even with them being foamed in, sockets can still fall off of them. The size of these cases allow me to carry them easier than having a long rail. I got all 3 compact cases and will be reaching out to ask about custom storage.
Does what it describes. It is an extremely compact box, and makes for a great addition to a toolbag that you can keep and leave in your car/truck. It keeps all the sockets cleanly packaged and compact. The one I got was for 1/4 inch, but with how efficient this one is in space, I'll have to get a 3/8 set too to keep on hand.
